In The Life of Julia Child

This project was created during my 2023 Illustration Residency at the School of Visual Arts, New York, where I explored the life, work, and culinary legacy of Julia Child through a series of illustrative studies.

The project focuses on translating her larger-than-life presence, warmth, and pioneering influence in bringing French cuisine into American homes into a visual language. Through a mix of observational research and narrative illustration, I experimented with capturing both the personality behind her public image and the atmosphere of the kitchens, studios, and food culture she helped shape.
