How to Create Watercolor Mixing Chart
Color mixing can be daunting at first but honestly it is really a fun exercise to do. Not only it helps you in understanding the range of different colors and shades you can create using a few colors but also it helps in relaxing your mind. One day I just grabbed my tubes of Winsor and Newton Cotman watercolor and decided to make a color chart.
I really loved the process, however, there is one thing that I missed- leaving gaps between the squares. You can see the full video below how I created this chart with 10 tubes of paints and created 45 new colors with their lighter tones.
The supplies I used in this video:
Paints: Winsor and Newton Cotman tubes
Paper : Canson XL
Brush: Princeton Neptune Round 6
I hope you enjoy the video. If you have any questions about watercolors, gouache or Procreate, feel free to SEND ME A MESSAGE and I will love to get back to you as soon as possible.
