Arteza 36 Watercolor Pan Set and Paper Review

Hey friends!

Recently I got a chance to review some of the very well know company Arteza. I had a discussion with them and they asked me to try out their 36 Watercolor Pan set and Expert Watercolor Paper. They were kind enough to send these products to me without any cost. I was so excited to try them out as I am already a big fan of their Gouache paints. So here are my honest views about this set. Overall I loved the colors, their quality and color choices and paper is amazing. You can watch the full video below or read my thoughts.

About Arteza:

Arteza is a US based company Based in Miami, Florida. They make a variety of high quality art supplies including watercolors, gouache, acrylic paints, markers and a lot more. You can check their supplies on their website.

Now here are my views about the 36 Watercolor Pan Set and Expert Watercolor paper that Arteza sent me recently:

  1. The colors are highly pigmented

  2. They are easy to activate with just a touch of damp brush or a spray or water.

  3. The box is sturdy with a metal loop at the back in case you want to hold the tin while painting.

  4. The box comes with a Water brush. The quality of the brush is really good in terms of the quality of bristles and has a nice point.

  5. The price of this box is $39.99 for 36 shades. They also come in a smaller pack of 12 pans if you are interested.

  6. These paints are not only ideal for a beginner but I will also recommend it to any intermediate to advanced level artist.

  7. The quality of paper I got is what I have been looking for a long time for a good price.

  8. The paper is made of 100% cotton and has a very nice texture.

  9. It absorbs a good wash of water unlike any student grade paper.

  10. I also want to mention one more thing- The packaging of their products is amazing which you can see in the video :)

  1. The sequence of pans in the box does not match the sequence of swatches on the box. So it can be a little confusing initially.

One thing I want to add here is this set does not come with a white shade. However white shade is not what normally be used in watercolors. But if you want to add it to your collection, kindly check with Arteza.
